My abstract paintings are usually a mash up of intuitive mark making and nonrepresentational brush strokes. The tools I use, the colours I mix, the marks I make are usually impulsive and as the painting evolves, I embrace what emerges. It’s a meaningful part of my practice that resets my process and encourages me to explore new ideas.
